  1. I'm compiling a collection of the last 4 filthpact releases plus some bonus tracks for a discography release, problem being its all been mastered seperately and so has a slight variance in volume levels. In an ideal world i'd get it all remastered together, but its 30+ tracks and there simply isn't the time or money available to do this.

As a result i'm considering putting it all together on Nero and using the 'normalise all tracks function' to balance out the volumes of each release but am however concerned that a) clipping may occur, b) it may change dynamics of the sound other than volume.

Can anyone shed any light at all on this? as i'm pretty clueless when it comes to such things!

    Cheers,

    Dave

  7. I thought so' date=' I swear that he looked about 20 years younger when he was onstage at that point (I'd had a lot of wine by this point), and I'd become almost obsessed about whether or not it was him... hopefully he was too engaged in the performance to notice me staring at him in some weird, psychotic way.[/quote']

Haha i wouldn't worry mate, i'll pass on the compliments though!

  8. All I remember of Filthpact is being obsessed with wondering whether their drummer was the same guy who organised the punk gigs at Drakes back in the days of yore' date=' because he looked much younger on stage, if it was. At my stage of drunkenness, the idea had taken on a Hawkings-like level of complexity. Anything that jogs the memory must be welcomed, I guess...[/quote']

    Its the same guy!
