  1. There are a few band sthat use Purevolume-My Mind's Weapon and Point of Origin spring to mind locally. I've put my old band's EP up as well (Battery Living).

The site has a preview player, so you can stream songs aswell as downloading them which is a decent feature as it means you can check out the song before taking up your own memory and time downloading it. It's free aswell, unless you want to upgrade to an higher level-dunno what extra stuff it offers, must be something.

  2. I'm looking to try and get ahold of some relatively cheap pedals but ones which are of reasonable quality.

Looking for Distortion which is a bit heavier than a Boss Ds-2, possibly the Boss Metal Zone or Marshall Jack Hammer.

Also a tuning pedal that either is or is like a TU-2 and maybe a chorus/phaser aswell.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers.

I can see arguments for and against this but my natural instict is to say o_O ?

It has to be the other wya around surely? Radiohead for the thinker. They're doing something and have done something different for over ten years. Are writing incredibly original music and causing stirs with each song and album. Plus there videos are legendary in their own right.

Don't get me wrong, i love muse to bits, but they take a shitload of influences from Radiohead (Showbiz was produced by the guy who did The bends, possibly OK computer too, at their request) and you can't say the vocals haven't absorbed a slight touch of Yorke.

Also, Radiohead came out ontop of Muse at the NME's in two categories (best album and vid i think) so, actually i don't know where i'm goign with that but, yeah...

I'll do the 'best of' soon. But i think it would have to have two releases inorder to cover both the singles and more popular b-sides or other album tracks.

  4. Is there not some way for the monitors to be more secure on the stage at Kef? I mean, they're just sitting right on the edge with nothing really holding them in a safe place, the slightest nudge forward and it's on the floor. Shouldn't the be a little backwards L thing ( _| ) thing that could keep the monitors on the stage more securely?
