  1. he he....

I came in on this thread late' date=' but classic...

too lazy to travel to work, keep up those preconceptions of lazy student bastards.

    excellent.[/quote']

im not to lazy to travel. but there is travelling to work and there is getting on a bus for 30 mins, then waiting 10 mins for another one to then sit on that one for 20 mins just to get to work? and thats just when its not peak hours.

  2. Have you got an old employer you could approach?

nope. space kitchens is not something i could go back to. and i dont think they'd take me back. 18months was enough.

m+s wont take me on for summer and my employer form last summer now lives in China and they company doesnt exsist. and the night club i work for here only has a branch in glasgow and ayr so i cant transfer.

  3. im not a fussy person. i just find no where seems to want summer staff. but when i get home ill try some of the places mentioned. marks and spencers dont take on summer staff... they want to keep you on til christmas. thats why i couldnt go back last summer.

the trouble is im 200 miles away and finding jobs that aint advertised on the net is hard. and last year when i tried looking in june after school had finished everywhere i tried (which was everywhere i saw had vacances plus all stores i had address for, i sent out 30 CV's) all said they already had summer people or werent looking. so to anyone who said its a case of getting off your arse... fuck off. i do try.

  4. mannofield isnt close to my house though...

they always ask and i hate lying. one job even made me come back to aberdeen (costing me 40) to then tell me after the first interview stage that they couldnt take me on for four months, but will offer me a term time job in ayr next year.... why cant i just work over summer then transfer? their reason was it takes 4 months to get fully up to scratch then id be leaving... but if their offering me another job i wouldnt be leaving?????

  5. Its weird' date=' i kinda miss Gordons, I sometimes bump into my teachers whilst wandering about town at lunchtime, and its good to talk to them, kinda on a different level as im no longer a pupil. Its always Kev Cormack i bump into for some reason...

    Bob :D[/quote']

i never see him when im in aberdeen... even though he lives two doors down... random

  6. *goes off looking for the 'topless' picture...*

    that was you silly

i think... *cough* what an oaf she was. really. never even heard of stranded. what stuart was saying made sense, about the rentacrowd thing. i was getting so annoyed that they were putting this website out in a wrong way. and her talking about this not being a proffessional music industry site.... lets see, all the aberdeen scene bands, venues and promoters use it..... what else could you want?

at leats all my friends thought we should win...and i voted lots.... yey go neil and stuart!!!

  7. i moved away but i had no choice. it was the only place in scotland that did the course i wanted to do. its good in a way as it forces you to meet lots of new people. if id stayed at home id probably have not made as many new friends as i did living in Ayr. money of course is a factor. but ive been lucky, my parents pay for rent and help with food and i worked full time last summer to save up so i didnt need a loan, and hope to never get one.

  8. ahh... back in 'the olden days'

when you could kidnap someone and delete their posts

    and everyone was free..

or let someone else delerte hundreds of other posts.... at the time when everyone was counting every singly post to beat each other....

    oh the harshness

i cant believe alex and emma are getting married.... and a baby... scary scary scary

  9. I don't recall this game at all.

    Which saddens me.

I would have lost anyway as I have no idea who half the fuckers on here are.

I'm pretty sure I've heard the name tv tanned muttered as I peruse the stalls in the local record boutiques though...

Maybe just the voices in my head again...

you know/knew me. remember when you owed me a pint of water.... but then it turned into a vodka and coke. my first ever drink in moshulu, on new years eve 2002 into 2003

and you came to the odd wasteland gathering
