Tav
Huh? Mini pots? Pots shouldnt alter your tone unless they are of a different size in ohms...opposed to physical size...
Guest lime ruined my life
yeh, but the physical process of making the pot smaller requires that different materials are used? which might effect the tonal properties passing through it, ie more/less parasitic capacitor/inductor properties in the pot, etc.....thats just what i was thinking, and wondered if the minis had any slightlyl different characteristic tones. David
i havent heard and differences in tone between mini and normal potsi have head that they are generally worse quality though, compared to the larger sized pots, and following on from that, there is a difference in sound between cheap crappy pots and wiring and decent stuff...i am going round in circles so yes, there may be a difference in sound between normal and mini potsDavid
