One of the original heavy metal acts have been churning out the steel since the late '70s

The real life Spinal Tap some would say, but this is where their strength lies, a band who's full on, over the top rock 'n' roll antics earn them a place in metal history. Still one of the greatest live acts to this day.

Man of the Hour are a Heavy Metal Band pure and unadulterated, but occasionally the pure Heavy Metal sound of Man Of The Hour is mixed with influences from other types of music such as Thrash Metal, Death Metal, Doom Metal, Power Metal, Bay Area Thrash Metal, Old School Heavy Metal, N.W.O.B. Heavy Metal & Rock n Roll into a style of music Man Of The Hour like to describe as Heavy Metal. Man of the Hour were forged in Edinburgh March 2003 with the intent of playing Heavy Metal and have done so ever since

Musically Man Of The Hour draw their influences from Heavy Metal bands such as Manowar, Judas Priest, B.L.S., Thor, Iron Maiden, Pantera, Black Sabbath, Anthrax, Cathedral, High On Fire & Sabbat, creating a heavy riff based sound filled with duelling lead guitar solos and ear splitting screams that is best described as Heavy Metal

Also Man of the Hour are looking for Aberdeen gigs, we've played twice at Dr Drakes and would love to hear form any promoters interested in booking MOTH.

For those that are unfimiliar with MOTH, we basically do Heavy Metal!

Man of the Hour won the Scottish Final of the Emergenza battle of the bands and played at London Astoria as part of the UK final.

As well as supporting Saxon MOTH have shared stages with Nazareth, Three Inches of Blood, Hayseed Dixie, Winniebago Deal and the Tokyo Dragons.

Anyway enough of the sales pitch check out www.manofthehour.co.uk for info MP3s and the odd video.

Cheers
