As the grandson of one of the most renowned South Asian musicians of the previous century, Ustad Hafiz Ali Khan, son of the celebrated Sarod artist Ustad Rehmat Ali Khan, and nephew of award winning Sarod artist Ustaad Amjad Ali Khan, Ameen's playing is known for its aesthetic purity and tradition, reminiscent of his grandfather's genius with the instrument.
