Acoustic guitar parts

i have recently dismantled my electro acoustic guitar. Wee problem though with the volume and tone controls. I couldnt get the volume and tone knobs off so gave them a wee twist . Think i have broken the transducers inside. Anyone know where i can get replacements and what the correct term for these parts is, if they are actually transducers etc.

cheers steve

Hmm lets see' date=' where could you possibly get parts to fix your guitar?

Oh I know! The guitar shops.

RnB, Bruce Millers, Prosound.[/quote']

how about an economical recommendation wiseass! Besides i had to take my acoustic to bits cos RnB "supposedly" repaired it in the first place, when actually they induced mains hum with dodgy soldering connections.

Only cost fucking 40 .

maybe you got money to donate to RnB technical training but i dont.

what part is actually broken?

is it a normal rotational (volume/tone) knob or something else completely

if you just destreyed the potentiomener by twisting it round too much (past the usuall limit of its travel) you could easily replace it, a couple of quid for a new one and a little soldering is all you need

if it is some other part, i am not sure
