Hundred Waters, the low-key Gainesville, FL pop outfit signed to Skrillex’s OWSLA, released their debut EP on the label this week, featuring five remixes of “Thistle,” a song from the band’s album that came out earlier this year. The original “Thistle” showcased frontwoman Nicole Miglis’ gentle croon over a restrained electronic beat, and the EP’s cast of remixers kick up the percussion across the board, with Star Slinger and Lockah doubling and quadrupling the hats and an especially hip-hoppy AraabMuzik spinning Hundred Waters’ folky pop on its head. The EP is out now on iTunes.
