JULY

06 _ Funk D'Void

13 _ Mr. C & Greg Gibb

20 _ Krazzy Martin & Friends ft. Lorca

27 _ Fridge Magnets (Live) + Dirty Hearts Club DJs,

Krazzy Martin, Cheens (Live), Nevada Base (Live)

======================

An action packed July kicks off strongly with Funk D'Void - the Barcelona based DJ and producer who has been at the forefront of music's global electronic scene since the mid-90s. A true music expert and the producer of “Jack Me Off”, “Bad Coffee” “Emotional Content” plus some killer remixes for the likes of Underworld, New Order and Kevin Saunderson

Firing through the whole month at a frantic pace, Snafu bring you breakthrough UK act Lorca alongside Krazzy Martin & Friends. Lorca has been causing a minor storm on the English south coast mixing that popular brand of garage infused deep house with jacking R & B rhythms, recently starting a hectic touring scheduled that signals he is only heading upwards.

Legendary London music figure Mr. C is a highlight of the summer - been a while since we saw the former Shamen front man, owner of seminal club The End and long time Fabric resident in Aberdeen. One of the most colourful figures in the world.

If you crave the live element to your music, check out Fridge Magnets, Cheens and Nevada Base on the final Friday on July, straddled by Dirty Hearts Club DJs and Aberdeen favourite Krazzy Martin.

Snafu // 11pm-3am // Every Friday

Upcoming : August : Moxie, Perc, Tuff Wax & more

The Krazzy Martin & Friends series is simple. It's all about inviting the best young producers from around Britain to Snafu, pairing them with some of the finest DJs in Aberdeen, and having a party.

You may already recognize LORCA, tomorrow's young Brighton based producer playing with Krazzy Martin & Friends.

His tracks Hold Back & Can't See Higher feature on both Modeselektor and Scuba's Radio 1 Essential Mixes.

With influences ranging from Peter Green, Freddie King and Bill Withers to Joy Orbison, Wbeeza or Pearson Sound, this one could go off big time!
