phil_anderson Posted June 30, 2012 Report Share Posted June 30, 2012 'Highwood' 13"x5" Steam-bent Walnut Snare, Black Chrome Rims and eight single point lugs, internal reinforcing rings means very little glue used in the construction, so it sounds great if it's tuned low and funky, or medium head tension, or really tight and high. It's the best Snare I've ever owned and played, but now that I've built my own Bubinga Stave Drums it's become surplus to requirement, it's in great condition, no dings of scratches, and it really should be getting played...new from Highwood it's around £400, open to any offers...
