HIGH POWERED BOYS

High Powered Boys is the combination of Surkin & Bobmo, two of Frances hottest producers. With releases like Hoes Get Down, Up Down and Udon on some of the worlds biggest labels like Sound Pellegrino, Institubes and DIM Mak its hard to avoid their unique sound.

They draw influences from Chicago house, Detroit techno, hip-hop and Baltimore Bass and blend it all together to produce their own take on house. The sub genre kids are calling it ghetto-house but whatever you want call it, Boys Noize, Les Petits Pilous, Brodinski, Strip Steve, Toddla T and the likes are all loving them.

With the recent demise of Institubes, Surkin and Bobmo have teamed up with Para One to create Marble Music. They have already released the Marble Anthem EP under their alias Marble Players and only 3 weeks later Para One joined up with Sound Pellegrinos co-owner Taki Latex to release the 5th Dimension EP.

SURKIN

Surkin grew a deep passion for dance music in 2003 listening to Cassius, Daft Punk and Todd Edwards then in 2006 signed to Institubes with his first EP Ghetto Obsession then in 2007 released Fireworks Refired.

The next year his 3rd and biggest EP dropped, Next of Kin featuring the self titled track and the huge White Knight Two. Since then he has release a host of remixes including one for Kid Gloves and his childhood hero Todd Edwards remixed Next of Kin.

BOBMO

Bobmo has been described as Surkins younger brother with a love for Chicago house and Detroit techno. His EP To the Bobmobile was an instant hit with Surkin, Justice, Diplo and Busy P, and the Baltimore heavy remix by Kazey & Bulldog was a big hitter in clubs all round the world. Since his first EP in 2007 he has done remixes for Hey Today! And Taki Latex had his own tracks mixed by Feadz and Hot City and most recently drop his Hardbells EP on Boys Noize Records sister label BNR Trax.
