Oedo 808 Posted December 18, 2010 Report Share Posted December 18, 2010 I think it's important that during the vocal melodies there aren't too many other things going on and that the guitar parts feature around the natural breaks in the singing. Occasionally in the track Fade Away I feel like the guitar playing is getting a bit too twiddly and busy during the vocals. I would just trust your own instincts in terms of what should go in and what shouldn't - because I think you're getting it spot on for the most part. farman Posted December 19, 2010 Author Report Share Posted December 19, 2010 cheers for the feedback man , yeah the vocals do seem to be fighting it out with the guitar in parts . it sometimes takes someone else to point out little things like that as you don't seem to notice it yourself . i'll keep that in mind when we record the new stuff . cheers again .
