chilli Posted October 10, 2010 Report Share Posted October 10, 2010 unique number in the calander, unique events to celebrate this around the world todayTwo in Aberdeen & only one city centre one in the threatened UTGfrom about 1pm to 4pm10:10 is a movement of people, schools, businesses and organisations cutting their carbon by 10% in a year Sunday 10th October 2010 (10/10/10) has been earmarked as Global Carbon Reduction Day around the planet & there is going to be in excess of 37,000 events around the world highlighting the need for carbon reduction & the need for people to reduce their carbon output. Cutting carbon 10% at a time | 10:10This will be the only 10/10/10 event happening in Aberdeen City Centre & we will have lots of groups taking part - whether educational, speakers, serious, fun, musical etc etc - the whole event is aimed at engaging the whole family, with a wide range of outdoor mini events connected to carbon reduction & beyond.
