Fudge Promotions present:

SATURDAY 21 NOVEMBER

@ THE MOORINGS BAR

ITS THRASH NIGHT!

CORRUPT ABSOLUTE (Hawaii)

Formed in 1994 and based in Honolulu, Hawaii, Corrupt

Absolute have been on the road constantly with tours in the

US, China, Japan and Europe, playing with bands such as

Slayer, Mastadon, Killswitch Engage, Hatebreed and more.

Oldschool hardcore/thrash mayhem, as seen on stages

from Metalfest to the Vans Warped tour. Youll love em.

THRASHIST REGIME

High energy technical thrash outfit, reminiscent at times

of Megadeth and Sanctity. As per usual the frontman

bounces around the venue like a hyperactive jack rabbit,

one minute on someones table and the next swinging

from the lights. Musically theyre a tight powerful unit

THRESHOLD SICKS (Dundee)

Gracing the stage over the years alongside quality UK

underground acts such as Panic Cell, Dragged Into Sunlight,

Co-Exist, Bloodshot Dawn and Bleed From Within, this

foursome are now ready to conquer the Moorings with

their clattering death-metal thrash-hardcore noises.

STATUE OF MISERY

How do you get back into the metal groove if you havent

played a gig in two years? You book yourselves a show at

the fabled Moorings, of course. And then cross your fingers!

Just stumbled across this and, although it's a bit old, I felt there was some bitterness to sort out.

The reason we didn't want to go on second was because we put so much effort into the whole tour, booking nearly all the shows, providing transport and accomodation, and generally just busting a nut to make sure that C.A. had a great time. It wasn't some ego trip based on having played with such and such. That could be useful ammunition when playing with the big boys, yeah, but not really anything to do with this situation. The whole point was that it was intended as a package type o' thing, and we didn't want the line-up changed without us knowing about it. Not us demanding changes.

Kind of feels like someone has tried to paint us up as a bunch of cunts, and anyone who knows us would laugh at the idea that we would be like that.

Anyway, this just bugged me a bit, and I had to stick my oar in.

See what happens when you have too much free time on your hands?
