Chris_APA
Aynsley ListerThe Lemon TreeFri 30 October, doors 7.30pm10/8 + bfFresh from supporting none other than Lynard Skynard on their UK tour, young UK blues sensation Aynsley Lister is coming to The Lemon Tree Lounge. Sounding somewhere between John Mayer and Joe Bonamassa, he switches effortlessly between blues-infused pop-rock and superb rock 'n' roll blues, packed with face-melting guitar solos (his MySpace shows both sides and is well worth checking out). In recent times he's had recording sessions with Bob Harris and Paul Jones and has previously opened for the likes of Robert Cray, John Mayall and Fun Lovin' Criminals.Aynsley Lister on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music DownloadsTickets available through Aberdeen Box Office, 01224 641122
Chris_APA
This guy really is the blues business. If like me you love a bit of Joe Bonamassa this lad could well be Britain's answer. He has already mixed it with some of the biggest names in the business and came out shining brighter - definitely one for the future. Chris_APA
Check this video of Aynsley covering 'Purple Rain' live at the Boom Boom Club in Surrey. This guy's got a great voice to go with some serious guitar playing.
Chris_APA
at 10 this is a snip in my mind for a real star of the future - think Joe Bonamassa, Matt Schofield, SRV, Buddy Guy... he's got the chops to be held in the same category. Chris_APA
If anyone caught Lynard Skynard on their recent tour this is the prodigy that opened up for them - well worth a look.

Biz
I wish promoters would spell bands names correctly. Is this the same Lynyrd Skynyrd that rose to worldwide recognition before three members and one road crew member died in an airplane crash in 1977?, Lynyrd Skynyrd
