HUBL Highlands Invasion

Just to inform that the HUBL is putting on a gig at dr drakes on the 18th of june, a friday night.

Bands playing are -

The Method - A four-piece Alternative Rock band from Buckie, playing fantastic inspiring music for people of all ages. Highlights so far have been supporting acts such as The Grim Northern Social, Cosmic Rough Riders and Biffy Clyro as well as becoming one of the biggest bands the Moray music scene has seen in years.

Kobi - Play melodic style rock with an edge, tipped as "The Hottest Unsigned Band In The North". Have done showcases for Channel 4 Ideasfactory and played a sold out Lemon Tree along with 3 of Aberdeen's biggest bands last January.

Noise Pollution - Female fronted four piece, who play upbeat, hard-edged rock & roll with a slight punk twinge. They have supported acts such as Macrocosmica, Dead or American, and fast-rising english blues hero Danny Bryant. Have been described as sounding like "Gwen Stefani fronting Guns & Roses"

E.K.O - Imagine the Pixies jamming with Placebo mixed in with the psychdelic sounds of the 60s. With past gigs including support slots for The Vaults and InMe, EKO have been tipped as the Highlands answer to the X-Certs.

Doors open 8pm - 3 on the door. First band on at 8:45.
