The Apers started back in 1996 as a 3 piecein the suburbs of Rotterdam, The Netherlands. They love the sound of theRamones, Queers, Undertones, Beach Boys, Buddy Holly and Screeching Weasel.The bands has done more than 400 shows, rocking countries like TheNetherlands, USA, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, Italy, France,Germany, Spain and the UK, playing with bands such as the Queers, GroovieGhoulies, Sonic Dolls, Teen Idols, Travoltas, Hi-Fives, Hives and more.....After a load of releases like singles, split singles and EP's they finallyreleased their self-titled debut record (CD & LP) in 2001 on StardumbRecords, Europe's #1 punkrock label. The record has been well received bypunkrockers all over the world and has got great reviews in magazines likeOOR, Plastic Bomb, MRR, OX and Aardschok. In Feb 2003 they released their2nd full-length, 'The Buzz Electric', on Stardumb Records again. To supportthe record the band has toured the USA for 6 weeks, playing with friends andlabel buddies the Groovie Ghoulies.
