Hi all,

I just wanted to get peoples opinions on this song. unfortunatly, it is in midi, but it would have to be a bigger file size if i put it to mp3.

I have only worked on it for around 2 hours, so obviously there is much time for improvements!

It's very hard to judge due to the midi only aspect, but as it is, it sounds ok, nice different sections.

It sounds well arranged.

Ok, i have taken a controversal change to the middle of the song, to really bring out some contrast. I'm not quite sure myself about it, and it is very possible that it just doesn't fit.

do you have a midi keyboard, or did you just plot it all in a sequencer? doesn't sound like there's any velocity changes, so i'm guessing you have no keyboard.

sounds like cheesy midi metal to me!

maybe my soundfont sounds a bit dated though.

what sequencing program / sound card are you using?

I used sibelius to put it in, and as you say, i don't have a keyboard, or at least i don't have the cable to put the keyboard in...So if i thought about it i could get the keyboard to work, but i haven't bothered. Anyway, yeah...I haven't quite got round to changing the dynamics yet, but it wouldn't take long to put into it.
