About Soundshok:Formed in Arbroath on December 2002, Since then 4 piece hardcore metal act Soundshok have played well over 70 gigs playing all over Scotland venturing as far as England and Europe. Influenced by the likes Old School Sepultura and Slayer to Hatebreed, Throwdown and Chimaira the band have recorded 3 demo eps including a live album and have built up quite an impressive fanbase due to the intensity of live performances, after finally finding there sound and true abilties the band are currently due to record their heaviest most brutal offering yet in new demo EP "Devoured" set for a Jan/Feb 06 release.This gig promises to be a great night, hope to see alot of peeps there, its our 1st hometown show in a year lol and my first gig back since my op plus this is our 1st show promoting our new shit. Mendeed are an awesome live act and their new album has been getting great reviews in the metal press so its a great honour to support them.
