Sam 45 Posted December 17, 2005 Report Share Posted December 17, 2005 Just back from doing work experience at this. Here is a mini review.Samurai Fury - Good solid band that knows their songs well. By far the best band of the night. And the bass player was immense. Although i didn't think the cover of Communication Breakdown did them any favours.Thujone - Their 2nd gig within about a month and there was improvement. Apart from the little blunder with the guitar lead their set went pretty smoothly. Although Ali has to learn to keep his clothes on. lol.The Sketch - I don't want to sound harsh or anything because i know this was the bands first gig but....There is no way this band are ready to gig. Fair enough if they have enough songs to cover a 30min set or whatever it was but half the time they weren't even playing in time with each other. Lots of practice needed to tighten up their songs.
