Pick-Up Volume Problems

Mouse

Recommended Posts

Since I installed an X2N (highest output DiMarzio humbucker) in the bridge of my Pacifica, the volume of this pick-up is noticably larger compared to the single coils (obviously!). Since I'm happy with the sound of the single coils themselves I don't want to change them, but I'm wondering is there some kind of circuit you can fit to boost the output of those pick-ups?

If you know how to do that it's fine. Would save you alot as components only cost penny's or less. I am interested how would you go about it yourself? Any examples of an effective pre-amp circuit? Diagrams?
