just a quick invite to the latest discoveries concert hosted by pete stollery. as some of you may know, pete's been hosting these shows for over a decade here in aberdeen and this one looks to be a good one as usual. i'll post the invite below, hope to see some of you there!

upcoming installation at Discoveries XXXIIII, Thursday May 12th, Aberdeen

just a quick invite (reminder) of the upcoming

Discoveries Concert organized by Pete Stollery this

thursday, may 12th...doors at 7:15, show starts at

7:45, at marischal museum, marischal college, aberdeen

(just around the corner from union street on broad

street.)

the event starts with an installation by myself

(resonare/in absentia). it centers on recorded

resonances of the ancient greek pottery held within

the collection of m.m. it will be broadcast over a

multiple speaker configuration and runs for a month.

following this will be five electro-acoustic pieces

diffused over a multiple speaker system by composers

from across scotland, including: kirsty robertson,

pete stollery, diana simpson, james wyness, and robert

dow. the evening also includes a set of live

electronics and improvisation by alistair macDonald

and pete dowling.
