I'm 32, and a bassist, and keen to find a band, or recording collaboration. What type of music do you like/enjoy playing?

What sort of time commitment are you looking for?

I moved up to Aberdeen a few months ago. 32, and have been playing the bass for a while (but not much recently). Wide taste in music, I love listening to jazz, latin, funk, soul, electronica, folk etc. As far as rock goes, bands I like include King Crimson, Porcupine Tree, Portishead, Pink Floyd, Led Zep Then again, I also really like good singer songwriter stuff (Paul Simon, Nick Cave, John Martyn, Richard Thompson), etc. And a soft spot for Motown, Peter Gabriel, Sly Stone, Quantic, Mike Oldfield, etc etc etc.

If you're interested in writing and playing some well crafted, interesting songs/instrumentals then let me know. 

Or, if you just fancy playing some good covers, that's also cool. There are plenty of fantastic songs out there that aren't performed nearly as often as they should be

I'm not interested in punk, or grunge or Coldplay.
