I’m looking to start an indie/indie pop band in the centre of Aberdeen.
Bands I’m really into at the moment are; Alvvays, Bombay bicycle club,The Smiths, Hibou, DIIV, Smashing Pumpkins, DMA’s, Mac Demarco, Pixies, Wild Nothing...
I’m looking for 1-2 guitarists, keys/synth, singer, drummer and bassist all of a high to reasonable standard.
I play guitar and can “get by” singing (best to limit it to backing vocals though...).
I’m 24 years old and have played guitar/sung in several bands since the age of 11. I have a pile of my own catchy riffs and songs waiting to play.
Unfortunately, I work away from home on a 3 weeks on/3 weeks off rotation which is a bit of a nightmare, but I will be fully committed in my time off.
