The church is not trying to get the money back..they are rather investing it hoping that at the end of the day they would have achieved two very important things. Getting our youths to know God and passing the message that the church is not such a boring place after all...we rock!!! Most people are under the false impression that you have to be righteous and holy to be a member of the church. The Bible says, for all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory..." we are humans...our imperfections make us who we are today...the Bible based principles guide us to do right..they teach us to lead lives of peace, love, integrity...lives that would be worthy of emulation.

Yes you can...but you've gotta also play by the rules too. Your band will have to come up with an original song with Bible based lyrics...The competetion is for everyone regardless of your religion or beliefs..the key is playing by the rules.

In myopinion, regardless of the sound system, a good song would always be a good song. Dont forget that the competetion is being judged not by the sound but by the content of the lyrics..The lyrics has to be from the Bible or be able to depict Bible based teachings..It doesnt matter what genre of music...it could be rap, reggae, rnb, pop, soft rock or heavy metal. Need I say the last group that won the price 2 yrs ago was a heavy metal band?
