  1. http://www.facebook.com/events/391619134238921/ It's done - I've arranged our first meet-up for upstairs in The Frigate (behind Marks & Spencer). Bring your scripts, notes, art etc to discuss. Or we could just talk about how great Saga is, really, it's awesome. Everyone welcome! From 8pm, Wednesday, September 12, 2012
  2. Sorry - not the case I'm afraid. Looks like we're 99% confirmed to get upstairs at the Frigate the second Wednesday of every month, from 8pm. Just waiting for a phone call from the manger to confirm.
  3. LOVE COMICS? WANT TO MAKE YOUR OWN? SILVER CITY COMICS is a monthly meet-up for people interested in making their own comics. It’s a chance for artists, writers, designers, whatever; to discuss projects; and share news and ideas. For info, email: silvercitycomics@gmail.com Or join us on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/groups/377770115623231/ I'm planning the first meet-up for the first Tuesday in August - thoughts?
  4. Madden? I did! In the other thread: 'We're doing a big re-launch later this year, coinciding with some new books coming out; and I'm desperately seeking someone to design a dedicated site - message me if you're game.' Check here for more info on the comic meet-up: http://www.facebook.com/groups/435794366443599/
  5. Off the back of Glasgow Comic Con I've been struck by an idea that I'd like to gauge interest in - in Glasgow they have a monthly meet-up for people interested in making their own comics, be it artists, writers, designers, colorists, whatever; and they really seem to have been able to pool their creativity into some pretty good indie books. Would anyone be up for attending something similar in Aberdeen? Just a chance for artists to meet writers, talk about projects, or just bullshit about the new issue of Saga. Thoughts?
  6. Hello! I run a small press comic book imprint, some of you will probably remember me as Jonny A Go-Go from Aberdeen music days gone by. Now I do comics: http://www.facebook.com/groups/435794366443599/ You can check out some of our work here: http://db.tt/cD9qml6d http://db.tt/jnfxeOY3 We're doing a big re-launch later this year, coinciding with some new books coming out; and I'm desperately seeking someone to design a dedicated site - message me if you're game.
