A Glasgow country rock four piece who visit us off the back of a successful year following the release of their mini-album Sound of the Storm and a set on the BBC Introducing Stage at T in the Park. They have followed this up by securing slots at SXSW, Canadian Music Festival and Eurosonic this year. Here's some highlights of their T in the Park set:

  2. Local favourites Marionettes play The Lemon Tree on the 13th April with support coming from Velvet Audio, Kobi and Joy Riot.

    Marionettes play frantic indie pop music with a punk-driven edge, and it is played loud. Specialists in melodic hook-based tunes with frenzied tempos, coupled with cutting social commentary.

  3. A top band who have a quite a few fans on here I think. They'll be visiting The Lemon Tree on the Saturday 25th February to promote their new album "Have Some Faith in Magic" with tickets costing £9 (+bf). Support comes from Remember Remember and Indian Red Lopez. Another chance for a cracker of a night out!

  4. Discopolis visit The Lemon Tree on Saturday 11th February with the venue staying open until 1am for a clubnight. The band are an upcoming three piece from Edinburgh who are making all manner of lists for one to watch in 2012 and come off the back of a successful 2011, which included sets at T in the Park and Rock Ness. They draw influences from the likes of Friendly Fires, Foals, Boards of Canada and Deadmau5 so have a watch of the video below and imagine it being played in a small venue!

    Round up your friends and head to this one for a top night...all for a mere fiver! Support comes from Stanley Odd, JJ Bull with a Steven Milne DJ set.

  5. This will be a cracker! Rachel vists The Lemon Tree on the 3rd February as part of her tour to promote her upcoming debut EP "Black Currents". Her earthy vocals and intricate fingerpicked guitars combine to produce a captivating performance. Support comes from Steven Milne.

  6. Captain Tom Music presents The Lorelei Festive Frenzy. Also featuring The Ruckus, Brothers Reid, Gerry Jablonski & The Electric Band. This will be a top night and a good chance to get away from mad Friday!
