I draw inspiration from The Smiths mostly, but also The Sex Pistols, Buzzcocks, Busted, McFly. Just about anything really. If you're drawing inspiration from a band I don't listen to, I'll happily listen to them and see if I can get anything from them. Personally, I would say I'm going for the position of vocalist. I do play guitar and bass, but I haven't touched them in awhile. Give me some idea of what to learn though and I should be able to pick it up rather quickly. My vocals carry mixed reactions, personally I would say I sound like, a more in tune Johnny Rotten. Although, I imagine I could pull off something a bit more universally appealing with a bit of practice. This is mostly just for fun, although I would be hoping to take it to a slightly more serious stage at some point. I don't want to be in a band where we take ourselves super seriously. Just something for fun and to meet new people. Looking for people in the mid teens to early twenties bracket. Willing to do covers, as well as original music and I hope to be writing our own music quite soon if we do arrange anything.

I only go to lessons for my guitar, bass is just a pass time, but I would guess at least grade 2/3

I'm willing to be the bassist instead of vocalist though, so, if anyone wants to take vocals you can. If you fit what I'm looking for I'm looking for a punk rock/pop-punk sound. Ages considered would be between fourteen and sixteen. My influences are Sex Pistols, Iggy Pop, Reel Big Fish, Buzzcocks, Bowling For Soup, Angelic Upstarts, The Clash, Public Image LTD, Green Day, Goldfinger, Small Faces and heaps more.

i'm 14 this year (october) and i do share an influnce of blink 182, I can sing alrightish, mostly Punk, Pop-punk though.

I am a thirteen year old, male. Looking to start a Punk Rock group. Preferred ages between 12 and 14, Gender doesn't matter, just age and influences. I am looking for a guitarist, drummer and bassist pacifically. Influences that would be great would be Proto-Punk, Punk Rock, Punk Ska and Pop Punk. So stuff like, Sex Pistols, Buzzcocks, Clash, Ramones, Cockney Rejects, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Bowling For Soup, Green Day, etc, etc.
