I had a good time. Thought the sound for The XCerts was awful though.

The Ash tour in full:
October
22 - DUNDEE Fat Sams (08444771000 / Welcome to TicketWeb!)
You had me worried for a bit then!
-
Frank Turner - Poetry Of The Deed
The Boxer Rebellion - Union
Mariachi El Bronx - Mariachi El Bronx
-
haha, yes!
Cool. Here's the rest of them, and yes I was lying down while taking this, wilting in the glare of the weird yellow thing in the Brighton sky.
-
copy haho are playing this show, for anyone that's interested!
I was wondering if there was a connection between Sky Larkin and Copy Haho at the weekend...
-
Mine appears to be Tubeway Army - "Are 'Friends' Electric?", with one Gary Numan. I'll have to go have a listen.
-
Noticed this gig has been advertised on some websites as taking place at the warehouse, is this the new name for moshulu?
Looks like it - ticketweb have it at "The Warehouse" with the same address as Moshulu with the venue website as moshulu.info.
-
^added! my top 40 in itunes is a bit redundant seeing as my ipod is pretty new.
Is that the new Brand New album you're listening to?

This album is amazing. Cannot wait to hear it live!
Looks like they're in Moshulu on 6th November. I'm there!
-
It is flipping ace. Sweet Disposition and Science of Fear are personal faves.
Same here, with the latter getting top spot.

I bought Conditions by The Temper Trap on Friday, and it's pretty much been on loop since! I've been looking forward to this release ever since I saw them at T.
-
Highlights for me were The Gaslight Anthem (does he ever stop smiling?), Manics, The Temper Trap and Mumford & Sons (Nice way to start a day!).
I also saw Kings of Leon, Doves, Blur, The Script, Eagles of Death Metal, In Case of Fire, Jack Penate, WWPJ, White Lies, You Me At Six, Foals, Telegraphs, Maximo Park and The Phantom Band. All were good apart from In Case of Fire who between them appeared to be playing three different songs at the same time. Utter shite.

Your musical compatibility with CalumMacLure is High
Music you have in common includes iLiKETRAiNS, Q and Not U, Mystery Jets, Les Savy Fav and Foals.

My fave album so far this year is Swoon by Silversun Pickups. I'd recommend it to anyone.
-
Going to TitP, but am also thinking about Belladrum - anyone been before?
-
Awesome news. That's made my day - I'll definitely be there!
-
Aye - the singer puked on stage then looked a bit out of it. They had to reshuffle the setlist to play the bassist's songs for a bit until he recovered o_O
My mate said that the bassist mentioned at the start that Kyle wasn't very well, but I don't understand Dundonian so I missed it
-
I bought Between The Lines / Finelines by My Vitriol the other week after a last.fm recommendation. It's amazing. Now I'm wondering how the hell they passed me by back in 01/02!
-
Support appears to the The Law again.
-
Dirty bastard.
I was delighted the line up wasn't that exciting because I get married on 11th July.
I've always wanted to see Blur.
Hard luck. Here's a thought - why not get married at T?
-
Bit more exciting than last week's announcement - Blur's just been announced as headliner for Saturday.
-
Thought I'd get this from the most-listened albums of the last 12 months on last.fm, stripping out the new albums. the number in brackets is the album ranking.
Vampire Weekend - Vampire Weekend (1)
British Sea Power - Do You Like Rock Music? (4)
Supergrass - Diamond Hoo Ha (18)
Los Campesinos! - Hold on There, Youngster (36)
Cage The Elephant - Cage The Elephant (45)
Foals - Antidotes (47)
The Automatic - This Is A Fix (81)
Cajun Dance Party - The Colourful Life (81)
The Music - Strength In Numbers (87)
Oasis - Dig Out Your Soul (115)
Looks like I haven't warmed to many new albums this year, with only two albums in the top ten most-listened albums over the year...
-
Not much of a fan of their later stuff, much prefer Enema and Dude Ranch so I'm not fussed about a reunion.
I did see them a few years ago at the Hammersmith Apollo. I didn't know at the time that the Apollo has no age restriction so most of the crowd appeared to be parents with small kids. This plus the fact that blink-182 are a bit rubbish live meant that this was one of the most strange and disappointing gigs that I've ever been to.
