Hello forum folk. I am Gav from a band called CoPilot Effect as you can no doubt tell from my imaginative forum name I am trying to organise a gig in Aberdeen for my band at a decent venue with a decent local band or two on either 29th May, 30th May or 1st June 2008. Can anyone help out? We play Montrose on 31st May as part of a wee festival which should be good fun and have a radio session lined up as well but it is proving quite hard to get a venue or promoter who can organise a gig on those dates. If anyone an help then we would give them a big hug and smile at them lots and arrange a gig in Glasgow for them in return. Below are the links for the band in case anyone is interested. Hi everyone, I am Gav from CoPilot Effect as you can no doubt tell from my super inventive forum posting name. I am just dropping by to say hello and ask some advice about gigs, sessions and what not up in Aberdeen. Have you got a favourite venue as an unsigned or new band, what local radio supports new music up here and how about podcasts or music mags or online fanzines - can anyone point me in the right direction please. We are playing at the Montrose music festival on june 1st and are trying to arrange some dates before that - one of which will hopefully be in Aberdeen on May 29th, 30th or 31st of this year.
