I have this early 70's Vox 2x12 Cab for sale...

It now has 2 Celestion Vintage 30's, so can handle 120 watts - 16 ohms. One of the attachment screws for the metal side trolley bars broke awhile ago so I took them both off. They as well as the cover are part of the sale though.

I just received an old 50 watt WEM amplifier than worked for about 30 mins, then went silent. Valves in both the power and preamp sections glow as they should, no strange noises coming from the amp or anything, just silence.
The previous owner thinks it may be a one simple cap replacement, probably damaged due to a less than caring courier. Hes offered to repair it or give me a refund, but as he's in England I thought it best to ask to see if anyone local could check it over and replace what needs replacing.
So, any decent amp techs in Aberdeen?
