Speaker stands and connections. This is a serious piece of kit that will cover most pubs and clubs. No need for a separate mixer as its in the amplifier. Hi, I play an electric violin. I used to play in a band professionally and fulltime for several years but gave things up several years ago. I am thinking of getting back into playing live again and am putting out feelers to see what is out there. I have played in folk bands, ceilidh bands and folk-rock bands in the past. I am more interested in doing something more avant garde - as long as it isnt jazz or heavy rock. I am good at jamming along and can pick up playing along to songs very quickly. I urgently need somewhere to set up my recording equipment - a full blown studio set-up in fact!! Due to a recent house move I have had to leave behind my recording studio. Anything considered - I mainly need a quiet base where I can do occasional mixing and mastering, but a permanent set-up would be ideal. Hello, I need a helping hand. I occasionally make on location recordings. The next one coming up is on November 18th for the Ythan Fiddlers all day - then mixing, editing, and mastering over two or three days to produce a final CD. NOTE THIS IS PAID WORK. This is a good opportunity to learn about recording, mixing and mastering. The main equipment used is an Akai DPS 24 hardrive 24-input mixing and recording console, but there is also lots of outboard hardware used as well. I need someone with a good musical ear, fit and able to lug (lots of) recording equipment, some knowledge of mics, mixing and digital recorders, who is available all day Saturday 18th Novemeber. If it works out there might be more work later - but this might just be very occasional. I am also looking for a suitable place that is quiet to do the mixing and mastering since I have had to leave my recording studio due to a recent house move.
