Well, it's 1 week until I fly to London for the gig and I haven't received my tickets or a reply to my concerned e-mails. The Ebay seller has a heap of negative feedback recently pertaining to "no tickets, no communication, avoid" and they have 367 of mine

Of course when I bought them all their feedback was positive. If they don't arrive I suppose I may be able to pursue my money back but my flights are non refundable and I can't afford to try to get a ticket from a tout outside the gig.

it won't be muse for sure. they've finished touring the new album in the uk.

When leaving the AECC last Novemeber drummer said "We'll see you next summer" which lets be honest could only mean that they were playing T in The Park 2007.

So that would mean the weekend of T, they would play T and then Oxegen, however in 2007, they played Oxegen on Saturday, then on Sunday they had to play some Danish Festival which meant that the T line-up wasn't strong enough so they added a Friday night to make up for it.

That was my understanding anyway?

On ebay right now there's pairs at buy it now for 75.

I'm hoping to get myself one, for maybe about 30ish...

Also, i've got a spare ticket for both Pigeon Detectives & Tha Manics, so maybe get a swap with someone.

I was looking in the completed listings search thing on eBay, and tickets for there tiny shows in Glasgow last month were going for about 10 a pair, but we'll see, there 8 weeks for me to get my hands on one.

If not, i'll just get a job at Moshulu

Basically Pepper had a stalker. Someone was sending her gifts which she thought was an admirer then the gifts got weirder such as a baby crying etc and a tape of her and her ex voicemail box.

She had an abortion when she was younger but her ex wanted the baby so they thought it was him but it turns out it was his mother who had gone crazy about not having a grandchild.

So now Pepper is held captiv at her ex's mother's house.

No she didn't!

She had a miscarriage, but the crazy grandma thinks she had an abortion, that's why she's taking it all out on pep, even though it's not her fault

the whole audience was in hysterics at Homer with a pig on the roof singing the theme tune to the Spiderman cartoon.

We try our best, unfortunately if promoters don't tell us what's on then we've got to trawl the internet looking for gigs, which is time consuming and therefore doesn't happen very often.

While I'm here...

Why promoters and bands should let the Guide know:

1) It's free!

2) We get between 400-500 hits per day on the site, that's 400-500 potential customers per day. I doubt there's a lot of people that look at it every day so there's probably well over 2000 people a week who want to go and see live music having a look to see what's on.

3) It's easy, we've got online forms to fill in that only require the date, venue and the bare minimum of info. Emailing us is also welcome.

I will be the lone voice of disent then and say they are pretty good. I also like The Answer, Black Stone Cherry, Roadstar, Tokyo Dragons and Kingdom Come who are all pretty derivative. All fit nicely on my ipod beside Slayer, Heathen, Finntroll, Turisas, Sabbat, Exodus and Laaz Rockit. Roll on Sunday for Hyde Park!
