  1. Yeah that sounds cool. Got a few songs of my own but they sound like no band in particular. I don't mind as long as it's heavy. What kind of styles do you sing?

    Cheers

i can sing underwater, anything basically.i want to try and branch into grindcore style,or something that involves screaming and going off on one!the last band i was in did old school punk covers, which was fine, but i needed a change.

  2. howdy.would you be interested in doing stuff along the lines of iron monkey, knuckledust, stampin' ground, murder 1,etc?i'm a vocalist and trying to get kicked off again after sadly splitting form my former band.let me know either way.ta muchly, snakey.

  3. Steve White uses them well with Paul Weller' date='most metal bands play tedious repetitive noisy drivel that requires little skill.[/quote']little skill?check out 'the berzerker' and watch thieir drummer.a former jazz drummer, but has a world record of 320 bpm with his double kick drumming.i'd say it would take a great deal of skill to do the likes of that,it's the same with jazz guitarists, they play real fast, then turn to metal.it's cool to be diverse, not just single minded about music.it's a mix and match to see what works best and when.
  4. i'm looking to set up a grindcore band, who are up for a good laugh but serious musicians and want to gig.i'm 29,been a vocalist with a punk band up until recently leaving.the twist is covers of pop, soul, any type of music that can be converted to grindcore(ten masked men a majour influence!),plus writing own material too.a bassist, guitarist and drummer needed.so if you think you're up for it,giz a shout on 07952492095.cheers!
