  1. Is anyone else out there familiar with the work of Sandro Perri. His Polmo Polpo project is responsible for one of Constellation Records' finest ever releases, "Like Hearts Swelling" in 2004- electronic drone/white noise par excellence. He's just released a CD of "live instrument" interpretations of that album, and its wonderful stuff.
  2. Hello, I am an electronic musician who has been writing music for the last few years (and have had record company interest in the past). It has been a solo project up til now, although I do have one composition with vocals on it and turned out very nicely, and I would like to get a vocalist (female) involved on a more permanent basis. I dont know how to describe the music, but Boards of Canada might be a useful reference point. So, if you like BOC or similar ambient-based music then I would be interested in hearing from you. No Anastacia sound-alikes please. If you are interested then e-mail me at apol_001@hotmail.co.uk and I can send you some MP3s
  3. Bass player (30) looking for open-minded musicians to form an unusual band/collective type thingy. A list of people I like: Kyuss, Boards of Canada, Rothko, Bowery Electric, MBV, Scorn, Swervedriver, Tortoise, Tool, Mogwai, Fly Pan Am, Hope Sandoval, Explosions In The Sky, Campag Velocet, ...and you will know us by the trail of dead and Movietone to name but a few... A bizarre looking list indeed, but if any of the above mean anything to you, and you play guitar/drums/keys/anything then I'd be delighted to hear from you. I also dabble in PC based music tools (Reason) which could be utilised should the opportunity present itself.
