  1. no no' date=' this is not a well thought out statement.

NME is NOT a pile of pish. and if you think about it carefully, then you'll find yourself to agree.

NME stands for New Musical Express which suggest it coveres what is basically "hot and straight off from the corporate music grill". surely, there is nothing wrong with bringing you the latest new bands, right?

and of course, you need to keep in mind that NME is aimed at the pop and alternative culture of 2005. you'll be hard stretched to find something in the magazine that doesn't appeal to the current market, ie. nu-metal or the latest grind-core thrashers. there is Metal Hammer or Kerrang to cover that area of music.

sorry, i'm not taking a dig at you at all.[/quote']

    awfully sorry.

forgot to put that that was my personal opinion.

anyway last time I read NME they were saying that Thursday were an up and coming band....hardly hot off the press...

  2. :D

i say it one more time' date=' these are the FUDGE awards. go start your own awards if you don't like our nominations!

Broken Sunshine - are ace and have played lots of Fudge gigs!

Five FInger Discount - are ace and are playing Fudge this month!

King Liar & The Brutes - are ace, if not playing a huge amount of gigs, sadly

Onion Terror - are ace and play lots of Fudge gigs!

Stayover - are ace, and have also played fudge gigs!

    so what's the problem?[/quote']

everyone should stop whining and moaning about who has or hasn't been nominated.

just get on with it or - yes start your own awards if you care that much.

If you don't care then don't vote, don't come...and shut up!

  3. And it was well funny when Harry dribbled pumpkin juice :D That was the best part.

hahaha - totally. Couldn't stop laughing at that bit.

i thought it was really good and on the whole didn't miss the bits they cut out.

But they should've mentioned why harry and voldemort's wands locked because of them sharing a core and they should've explained more about crouch junior - about how everyone thought he was dead and how he escaped from azkaban etc.

but apart from that it was good. It's my favourite book of them all.

  4. I was a trout.

    Very hot indeed.

    ahahaha!!!that was so funny!

halloween at kef was so much fun. I did start drinking at four so I don't remember an awful lot...but I know there was dancing...i have lots of bruises now...and i lost my costume....

but these are all signs of a good night out obviously.

  5. I thought it was really great - johnny depp did creep me out a little bit at first but you do grow to love him - i mean - he's johnny depp....

The film is so Tim Burton - he really made it like I imagined it. With his films they're so surreal and he totally makes it seem like a fantastic dream you might have with absolutely no details missed out - i am not doing a very good job of putting what I mean into words here but yeah...i liked it.
