The translation is enjoyably weird
Aye it took me a couple of reads to try and make sense of it
-
Ooh, I might just be able to make this gig...fingers crossed
-
I really like this track - it's brilliant!
When did he play Aberdeen?
September 2008 at the Lemon Tree as part of the "Approximately Infinite Universe" tour. The tour paired up Finnish & American artists doing improvised sets each night. Looking back at the flyer the artists that played were :
Kemialliset Ystavat + Axolotl
ES + Fursaxa
Islaja + Bleven Blectum + Samara Lubelski
Dream Triangle ( Tomutonttu + The Skaters)
One of the best nights I've had at the LT

Ha, I have an unmodified Barbie kb just like that. I've gigged it a couple of times, it has some fantastic sounds on it, especially if you plug the microphone into it.

More Finnish madness from Jan "Tomutonttu" Anderzen & his chemical friends
-
One of my favourite artists at the moment, about time he came back to Aberdeen

The Poets played LIVE for the first time in 40 odd years on Vic Galloway show last Monday, its repeated
tonight from 10pm. They sounded pretty amazing & totally together. Amost a hint of early psyychy Love
This is a band that regularly played in front of 3000 in Glasgow
Wow that was fantastic, great voice for a 68 year old & the Thanes making up the rest of the band, what a treat. I'd love to be in Glasgow on the 2nd of December to see them play live

Specifically those two together? The Bug usually has Daddy Freddy or Flowdan as his MC of choice.
Yeah I'd be happy to see The Bug with any MC tbh, but I would love to see her performing in the flesh, in all the youtubes I've seen, she has been amazing.
I just missed out in a comp to win Ornette tix for next week in london, though I got the second prize of a couple of his cd's

Fingers crossed this will arrive this year!
Me too, though it has given me time to lose some weight so I can actually wear the t-shirt
-
Oh man, when about was that?
It must of been '94/'95. They had specifically reformed for the Nirvana tour, but I can't remember if it was warm-up dates before the tour or if it was after Kurt died.
I'm pretty sure they were the support for Bis or maybe Suckle (Frances Mckee's post Vaselines band) that night
-
The Raincoats (despite hearing negative reviews of their last ATP performance)
.
They were utterly fantastic when they played the Lemon Tree
-
I saw one from my list last week in Edinburgh: Toumani Diabate

You lucky, lucky man. I would of loved to be there, how was it ?

Tell you what I like - those vacuum cleaners where you press a button and the power cable gets sucked into the machine. Nice.
Ah, good point Prof. I'm refering to Diamorphine of course
