  1. So hows everyone getting there this year, i took the bus last year but never liked where the bus dropped you off, never enjoyed trying to climp up the hill to the campsite with a suitcase full of beer. But then taking the car is just a pain in the ass, waste of valuable drinking time.

Theres about 20 of us going, considering hiring a bus

  2. Was anyone else there, i thought they were great, they were really up for it, especially considering robbie fowler missed a last minute pen just a few hours before the gig to keep man city out of europe. I was worried they would be too pissed off to play. Funniest quote of the night mustve been liam asking 'anyone want ought from the shop' before dissapearing for bout 10 mins.

If anyone was there, do you have any pics?

  3. Apparently its oasis' biggest rival for the number one spot this week, what a fucking farse the charts are nowadays, oasis or crazy frog? load of shite, proper bands put alot of effort and time into making great songs and some stupid frog may end up selling more

  4. Yeah buy day tickets from ticketmaster, they will go quite quick tho, there are camp sites near by who let you camp for quite cheap, its also very easy to sneak into the campsite at night. I wouldn't take the risk of buying from ebay.

  5. Yeah he was a fucking cock, definitely deserved to be beating up, i have more respect for pete now than ever. See the bit when the gig was getting out of hand and max was like stop this, stop this, its getting out of control, fucking pussy

  6. The Cribs are playing Moshulu on Saturday 4th June :D

The new single 'Hey Scenesters' is great

brilliant, def will be there, u know how much the tickets are n when they go on sale?

havent heard much from them but dominic from the others keeps tellin me how great they are

  7. ^ agreed

as much as i love the libertines' date=' i don't have any sympathy for pete. it's a bit unfair to also say that carl should 'help him to get clean'. why? carl admitted that he didn't want to throw pete out of the libertines, but he didn't have much of a choice. if anything, he made the right decision at the time.

better for the libertines to have two decent albums than two decent albums and three shit ones, surely?[/quote']

i can see where your coming from about carl but as carl has declared many times, petes his best friend, if my best friend had a serious drug problem i wud do everything i could to help him.

as for pete, he is very selfish and he has let so many people down but i remember when i bought up the bracket n no album has every meant so much to me as this has. Everytime pete takes out a new song i have loved it. i dont know about saying he is a legend but no other artist has effected me the way he has and on that terms i give him alot of credit.

one last thing, his problems havent been too different from kurt cobain's, he had his problems but everyone gives him the upmost credit, everyone will tell you he is a legend. im not saying pete and kurt are on the same level but they have similarities in the way they live/d their lives

  8. a 10 minute chat on a sofa?

    worst.reunion.ever

apparently it was an hour, maybe was just a chat on tha sofa but they hardly gonna arrange to meet on stage or sumin, it has to start somewhere. it couldn't have been a coincidence, carl hasnt been going out much. i think its better that they have met up in a pub rather than at the nme awards as everyone anticipated

  9. hurrah! although even if the libertines were to get back together' date=' it's not very likely they'll be making any festival appearences[/quote']

i know, it probs def wont happen, althought they do like to do things in the spotlight, hopefully carl can now do what he shudve done ages ago n try n help pete to stay clean.

anyone heard any details whether pete has stayed clean or not?

  10. ok. grasp this...

The Beatles are in there 3 times BECAUSE they produced 3 of the best albums voted by the Great British Public...

If I' date=' an immature little twat who is about to go to bed because daddy is going to beat me up if I dont let him on, had made this list, I probably would of been forced to put them in at least 5 times in the top 20...because they made the best music that has ever been made

As to why I like them? thats an extra question from your original one, but I will answer anyway. The Beatles, Paul, George and John, were among 3 of the greatest songwriters ever. They were also blessed with great singing voices, and had great harmonies. They looked cool as fuck as well, and were influential to almost everything after them. From Please Please Me, to Rubber Soul, to the White Album, and Abbey Road they changed popular music, writing classic after classic...this is tiresome and incoherent but rest assured, if you dont like The Beatles, I believe you have some sort of agenda against them, or you like mans willies.[/quote']

10 out of 10, although i have to say that sgt peppers is far from there best album
