I dont think decipher vs black matter would be to good for that night ousy as we are playin in lemontree.

Decipher want to play, all though we should see how we get on this sat first.

Ha well we are playing a gig through fudge next saturday with kenetic but that is the only one i have managed to set up in town, but cheers i will def hassle them for shows at some point.

1) Get in with the "it" crowd

2) write math metal, emo, metalcore

3) Get a good hairdresser

4) Be seen to be scene

I think you're colleague's problem was part enthusiasm and partly bad wording. In some threads he said your band sucked and in others he seemed to indicate they were fucking ace. For a new, young band starting out i just seems to invite scepticism. Perhaps not his fault but maybe a little restraint on his part would've seen a different attitude from other posters.

Well to try and clarify things i would say that i like the music we make and i think we are tight practising but we are like any new band starting out, the more gigs we get the better and more comfortable on stage we will be.

Ha i just noticed it was removed to...............SO how do you manage to get into the scene here and get lots of gigs in town?

But to be fair all he wanted to do was to talk about the gig and the very first response was negative so obviously he is gonna be defensive.

nah, honestly i dont really know many local bands.

I could tell you a few i like but i dont think that will be as fun for you!

haha...that was a pisstake by scholey! he thought he would chance his arm.

Yeah i saw a lot of people critisised that idea to, i haven't seen scholey for a long while i think it was when you guys played in moshulu with alexisonfire or someone like that.

To be fair Munky...Ousy has hardly put his brain in gear before speaking. Don't worry. This Website will have VERY little if any bearing on the way your band develops musically and with a fanbase, especially if you work your myspace right.

If you want my advice, which you have asked for in person before when we had a chance meeting, use this site as light entertainment, nothing else.

Thats my t'uppenceworth. Take heed or not.

Ha cheers ben and yeah it is light entertainment, the main reason we are using it is to try and get some more gigs lined up.
