ONE OFF SCREENING OF NEW YORK AWARD WINNING ABERDEEN FEATURE FILM 'IN A MAN'S WORLD' ON TUESDAY 22ND OF FEBRUARY Due to public demand it has been decided to hold a one off screening of the award winning feature film IN A MAN'S WORLD on Tuesday February 22nd at the Belmont Cinema in Aberdeen Scotland. There are a limited amount of tickets now available for those who would like to see the film before it screens at Cannes in May. If a British distributor does not buy the rights to the film at Cannes then this may be the last time it will ever be screened in this country. The doors will open at 6:30pm for the film to commence at 7pm. Following the screening the director Lee Hutcheon and some of the main cast members will be holding a Q&A with the audience on IN A MAN'S WORLD and his forthcoming project RAMENSKY. Tickets are 10 per person. Part of which will be donated to the Cancer Research Fund. (The charity has been changed from the Tsunami fund). The first screening starts at 6:30-8:30pm and the later screening will be at 9:00pm-11:00pm. MUSIC WANTED FOR NEW SCOTTISH FILM PRODUCTION All up and coming British Bands are being invited to send samples of there music via email to Scottishfilm@aol.com in M-Peg, Quicktime or Wav format. Alternatively if your band has music demo links on their website then email us the URL address instead and we will listen to your samples. If you are shortlisted we will ask you to send a CD. Throughout the next few weeks Clanfilm Productions will be on the look out for new music for an exisiting feature film production which will be screening at the Cannes Film Festival in May. We have decided to include 3 tracks from new up and coming bands who are still unsigned with view to promoting their work through the film's success and International exposure. IN A MAN'S WORLD is a Gangster Film that was shot on the streets of Aberdeen and has recently just won Best Feature Film Drama at the New York Independent Film Festival and is rocking critics all over the world. (Stand By Me meets Goodfellas). www.scottishmovie.com Although the film is not yet released in Britiain the Distributors have allowed the Director Lee Hutcheon to distribute a limited amount of copies to local film fans in his home town of Aberdeen. So this notice is just to tell everyone that 30 Limited Edition copies of the film will be on sale at the Belmont Cinema this weekend commencing Friday the 28th of Jan. Each copy is 14.
