As i have just purchased a 5 string Bass i think it would be nice to jam with some folk. Anyone need a beginner bassist for Jamming or band stuff. When i say beginner though i have been playing Guitar for years. I am 21 and my influences are anything from Classic rock to death metal although not tried playing death metal bass yet

You need to ask yourself if you need that extra channel. Also are you certain marshall is what you want to go for. Have you checked out any other types of amp before buying. Engl's, Laneys and peaveys may also be what you are looking for. Out of those two i would say that few people use the extra channel but it can be helpful but with money tight the DSL is probably the safer bet. Mind you i use pedal distortion so who would want to listen to me.

I have been a happy firefox user for ages now and it rocks. Microsoft can go suck mozilla's hard code. But what really suprised me was SP2's security features. In an attempt to help internet security after i downloaded and installed it it deleted all other microsoft products from my registry and hard drive. Only XP was left working. It got rid of IE, MSN messenger, Word, Works and even caused Halo to stop running properly, it also screwed up my network completely. What a great upgrade that was. Thank god it let me revert to what it previously was. Shame really it almost sounded like a utopia, shame i need MSN or i might have been tempted to leave it like that.

That was one of the things i really loved when i tried on eof them out. It is so like my 112 but sounds so much sweeter and looks gorgeous.

What a bargain! (i think...)
Bought a used Kramer yesterday from a pawnshop for 150. So far it feels great' date=' has an authentic floyd rose, and, so I discovered, an active pickup (endless sustain!)
Does anyone have any deep pools of knowledge regarding this company? Any thoughts on how much an 'American Sustainer' would be worth??

Give the guys at Bareknuckle pickups a call. They will be able to tell you everything you need to know and also sell some of the best pickups around. Swineshead are also a good port of call rather than just looking at Dimarzio and SD and what not.
Both are very good and the Swineshead pickups are very cheap but very good handwound pickups.

Can't wait for this gig. Saw them in London last time they were in the UK. Awesome gig. Hopefully off to Wacken as well to see them a 3rd time. It will rock.
Also will be good to hear Tristiana supporting. Could be interesting. Shame the americans all get Sonata Arctica as support
That would just be too good. Just need to see Children Of Bodom again and i will have had another good year for seeing bands i like.
Anywhere bands can practice in Aberdeen? Lock-up's or venues in the daytime, etc?

We really need to know places other than Tom's as nice as it is it is a bit too pricey for us these days. We have to practise mostly in the evenings so need somewhere that do a good price for that. Also there is the possibility of renting space somewhere with other bands as a joint thing. Might work out a fair bit cheaper for all.
