It is where you play the strings in a downward or upward motion similar to running a stick along a fence. You are basically playing as economically as possible rather than alternate picking. For a scary bit of playing look up Michael Angelo.

hahaha
Nice sounds like fun.
-
I am known to gain enjoyment from that album!
That is because it is an awesome album though
My three right now would be:
Alexi Laiho
Roope Latvala
John Petrucci

I would say Kreator's "Flag of Hate" 12" is the best metal release of all time. Amazing sound' date=' crashing drums, raw as hell, released back in 1986. Any metalhead should have this one. I do, and I'm not even a metal fan.[/quote']
And they keep going strong. The new album is ace
-
I really want to get me one but it is hard to find them second hand and new they ain't cheap. Really want to get one though great amps
-
True but it is much more fun to click then get suprised.
Now i want to hear this album
-
I thought this would be a bout John Petrucci
-
I have a double gamepak thing of 'Day Of The Tentacle' and 'Sam And Max Hit The Road' but I could never get the bastard thing to work on this PC. Time for another go methinks...
Look for a piece of software on the net called scummvm. It is an emulator thing for Point and click games pre pentium era Should get them running and it is so worth it
Anyone else like grim fandango, not quite point and click but very very good none the less, also broken sword 3 has dissappeared from shops in Aberdeen and hasen't been seen on the PC for months
-
Keyboard players all seem to hide in Aberdeen. We could do with a good keyboard player but we could never find one
-
Sounds about right to me. I got pushed into learning trumpet and hated it. Then i picked up a guitar and taught myself what i wanted to play. Much more fun
-
I shall have to look into this
-
John Petrucci - Glasgow kiss
-
Well i am currently lisening to Petrucci's solo album and if it is anything to go by i am really looking forward to this new DT album. Petrucci is awesome.

i see. well i hardly eat pig anymore so i guess i'm safe. they can't pass it to cows/chickens/other edible animals can they?
Not the problem. The mutated strain can pass from contact of humans. The pig genome is very similar to ours, which is how Arnie Schwarzenegger has a pigs heart, and the mutated bird flu is very contagious from pig to human. Then it mutates again and again till we either eradicate it or it kills us all. Could be worse though. The Americans are fireinfg things at comets and after all the recent screwups in the world it will probably be tilted on its trajectory straight at us. Lovely thought.

CLOSER - It's utter pish.
Agreed
Also another of the worst films i have had to watch recently. New York minute. Anyone else really wanna kill the Olsen bloomin twins
-
You are a very lucky person
-
Not got it but heard it is very good. McLaughlin is a very nifty player.
-
That's really' date=' really crap. I do try to keep an eye on my gear at gigs and (touch wood) haven't had anything nicked so far. How the hell can someone steal something as big as an amp?
On the plus side, at least it was a Peavy. Imagine how annoyed you would have been if it was a decent amplifier. [/quote']
hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Say that if someone stole your JSX.
-
snes all the way
because
better games' date=' graphics, sound and controls[/quote']
So true. Also Mario Kart was the most amazing game ever.
-
It could be worse. They could make a song from that bloody frog thing
Bugger

Word.
Fantastic gig' date=' great venue - could see and hear the band clearly. The overall show was superb with some excellent lighting.
The performance was outstanding, love the vocals, keyboards and audio balance. Everything was spot on and the atmosphere was immense.
I wish I had bought an upstairs booth ticket now... next time perhaps.
The support sounded rough... it was funny, the girl next to me thought they were nightwish and were cheering them on HARD. [/quote']
That was awesome. Tristiana did suck though. At least Nightwish totally rocked. They just seem to get better every time i see them

my advice is' date=' get together with 2/3 other bands and rent one space and share. tis a LOT cheaper and less hassle. no more carting about yer stuff, stopping /starting just when you get grooving.....
oh yeah, nearly forgot, i have a friend who is setting up a rehearsal space rosemount somewhere. i`ll try to get him to post details here or summat.[/quote']
If you cold PM his details that would be pretty perfect (well for me anyway ).
