For a chance to win a pair of VIP tickets to a Road to RockNess gig of your choice all you have to do is add the RockNess myspace site to your top 8 friends and answer the following question:
Tell us which record label The 1990s are signed to?
Answers should be emailed to:
info@rockness.co.uk along with the address of your myspace page (remember, your entry won't count unless the RockNess myspace site is added to your top 8 friends). Entrants need to state their preferred gig location.
Your prize will include:
One pair of VIP tickets to a Road to RockNess gig of your choice (meet the band, signed goodies plus hotel and transport) as well as one pair of weekend camping tickets to the RockNess Festival itself on 9th and 10th June

First acts announced for Loopallu 2007
At last the wait is over (well almost anyway).
We're still confirming the last few acts, which admittedly has taken a little longer than hoped, but thought we should give you a taster as one of this years bands currently has the Record of the Week on Radio 2!!
Yes, Sheffield's finest, THE TINY DANCERS will be occupying the slot, that last year belong to a little known band from Dundee called The View. Now look what has gone and happened to them
We're also pleased to announce THE SAW DOCTORS who will be headlining the Saturday night (in this part of the world they're probably bigger than fellow Irishmen U2!!).
If it's dancing you want, and most of you seem to, then dub reggae legends DREADZONE are sure to set the Big Top alight! If it's something more traditional, than we've had more requests than anyone for the VATERSAY BOYS to return again, so felt we had to oblige and all introduced by our (almost adopted mum), JANICE LONG.
With another dozen acts to announce, we're sure we'll have something for everyone. The only thing that we can't guarantee is the weather, for which we were all rather spoilt last year but you never were heading to Loopallu for the sun, just the fun!
With half the tickets gone already, don't leave it too late as the 'Little Fest in the West' isn't getting any bigger than last year
See you all on the 21st & 22nd September 2007
Best Wishes
All involved at Loopallu

Anyone been there for a gig?
I'm going to see the Holloways on Thursday and I'm trying to find the best way to get there from the city centre. Was thinking of getting the underground to Hillhead but was wondering how far it was from there and if trains would still be running after the gig ended.
Also, does anyone know of any pubs in the area
