    theyr working on it now. Justin has said in many interviews the new material is fucking awesome....if its anythin like the material they put on as B-sides, which is also their newer material, then i believe them.

    i can see it being a bloody good album, to be honest. i think theyv got what it takes. just as long as they keep their feet on the ground and not be like Weezer or someone who blows their head so far up their own ass that their second album is one that only they themselves would listen to.

    there wont be songs like I Believe or Get Your Hands off my woman, i think the songwriting is maturing/has been maturing all the time since Permission to land was released, and this will be a nice grown up proper rock record.

    dont bring up the christmas song, its hard to write a christmas song without sounding gay.

    We've finally got our first EP out, titled "There's a good reason for this....really...". I'm going to try and get it into OneUp this week sometime, and it'll be available from our gig in Drummonds on the 15th.

    It will cost 2, and if bought from a gig, will be available with a free badge!!

    Only four tracks, they are

    1.Something

    2.You or Them

    3.Destructive Obsession

    4.Rock and/or Roll

    On the HUBL, the track Something is available for download.

    On our website, there are 30 second clips of each of our songs.

    Download our song from HUBL, tell us what you all think!

    If not, try and come to our gig at drummonds...it should be a good laugh, whatever happens..

    i find Cave In's cov er of Dazed and Confused to be fucking terrible.

    it depends on what u like, but the guy needs to put a bit more balls into his singing, in my opinion. it sounds like he's reading from an autocue, no soul or passion there.

    the instruments are played very well, tho. in that case its a pretty good cover. but the singing destroys it, in my opinion.

    rest of the cd aint exactly my taste either.

Concerts are the pinnacle of the metal experience, though sometimes they get a little too crazy.     this thread hurned into almost every one this site with an argument stating that "the darkness are rubbish because they are upbeat/talented/Happy!/not members of the Glassjaw fanclub/have cool solos/put smiles on peoples faces". if people dont like a nice bit of good old fashioned rock and roll...whats the world coming to? the darkness are bringing the wonderful music of the likes of Quo, Thin Lizzy, QUEEN and other great rock bands to the youth of today. They aren't as good as the aforementioned bands, but younger people today who are "told" by tv that the darkness are influenced by these bands have been raking through their parents record collections to have a listen to their various old rock&roll albums.

    the darkness are here to stay. face it.

    ps. also Ben, my apologies. i'll leave the Emo Statement piss alone. You listen to Foo Fighters...good enough for me. And to my knowledge aswell...Quik dont scream in their songs...so how can they be emo? iv never heard them so i dunno...

    yeah, i was jumping on the bandwagon. lol.
