  1. I love coffee. Cappuccino is my ultimate favourite only down fall is it gets cold too quick! Like a good late too.

There is a new Tea Shop opened up. Cant remember where but it has designer teas. Which is just tea blended with herbs and spices. It was the creation of two guys. And theyve designed everything themselves' date=' from the interior of the Shop to the special tea machines. Looks kind of cool but it refers to coffee too much. Late and cappuccino is referred to a lot and the machines look identical to the coffee machines.

The idea is to make tea popular again[/quote']

    Is this in Aberdeen?

  2. i had a Gollywog when i was younger (about 3 or 4) but my parents had to take it away coz i was absolutly petrified of it :( i am not racist' date=' and i dunno what it was they just scared the shit out of me, gave me really bad nightmares and such like[/quote']

I was really suprised when I heard that gollywogs had racist connotations! Being about 4 years old I just thought it was sweet little badge i had.

And are we not keeping racism going by making such a big deal out of a nursery rhyme. Bet none of us thought of it as being racist until we were told it was.

  3. The Bell Jar(sylvia plath) is an amazing book but i guess it would be easier to relate to for girls than guys. I'd say The catcher in the Rye would be the boys equivalent even though they are books not poems.....

Never really got Sylvia Plath but loved Cathcher in the Rye...don't know what that says about me... ?(

Favourite poet...has to be Philip Larkin

  4. That's a good point there. I may well be cutting my nose off to spite my face but when it seems that everyone's raving about a film it kinda puts me off it for some reason. Hype just turns me off.

    QUOTE]

I think I'm the same altho I don't really think of it that way when a film is out. I have a big list of films I should've seen but havent and they include:

Mary Poppins, ET, Star Wars, Lord Of The Rings, Harry Potter and so the list goes on..

I've seen lots of films but just not the ones that everyone else has.

Saying that someone likes morrissey shouldnt be an insult and he is by far a more inspiring lyricist and singer than any member of metallica. My ex tried to make me like metallica but it didnt work. And it never will. Now i just keep away from metallica fans.

  6. I dont really mind emo particularly. I wouldnt choose to sit down and listen to it but if i heard an emo band when i was out it wouldnt bother me, but maybe that proves a point - it doesnt make any impact on me so it must be weak in some way.

Being an emo kid is fine as long as your mind isnt closed to the other (often better) stuff thats on offer.
