  1. I had an embarrassing incident a couple of weeks ago. I was at a friends 18th and to be fair, quite drunk. Staggered out of the main bit towards the toilets, and got chatting to some girls. I decided I was a bit drunk and unsteady so put arm out to lean on the door frame. I miscalculated the location of the door frame and ended up falling sideways through the open door.

    Play it cool .... lol

  2. i have had few ned experiences' date='

one night when i was about 12 me and my friends had been at the cinema when on the way home we were followed by a group of "neds, chavs, peds, bams", one of them started shouting abuse so i stupidly turned around to see what they were shouting at us for. One of the group came right up to me and claimed that his friend had told him that i had been calling him a dick....hmm now here is the the thing, i had had one never set eyes on this boy before, seen any of his friends, said anything to anyone about them...u get the picture. I exclaimed that i had not said anything and actually apologised to him for him thinking i would say that. he then proceeded to say that i was calling him and his friend a liar and promptly hit me in the face more than three times, leaving me with a bust lip, nose and swollen cheek. His group found this hilarious and i heard one of them shouting down there mobile phone that "baz" was beating the shit out of some "fucking fanny". after some abuse and spitting they walked away leaving me with my own blood.

now i don't know about u but i certainly felt like the victim in that scenario, and i don't give a shit what any of you say, people who hit me or anyone for no reason are ARSEHOLES! i don't care if their bams or priests, it is not on!

the funny thing is you don't know how bad aberdeen is untill u leave, i was in edinburgh recently and was actually surprised to not have abuse thrown at me on a friday night while walking up princess street, this may be because of edinburgh's size and the "rough areas" are further away from the city centre....i don't know. i just wish people like that would go away and not come back.[/quote']

Well said mate! Was this recent btw? You recovered?

  3. It doesn't bother me. Everyone is entitled to wander their own path and besides' date=' they'll take all the shit jobs, allowing the more intelligent folks to take the good ones.

Don't cryyyyyyyyyy about it. Its a significantly smaller problem than you're led to believe.[/quote']

Or ... they'll be unemployed leaving us to pay for them - through tax's!

  4. Heh' date=' my age is no secret - my birthday is in my profile for all to see. I am not ashamed of it :-)

Hell boy, I was doing this shit when you were just an itch in yor daddy's pants/twinkle in the milkman's eye (delete as appropriate)[/quote']

  5. My boyfriend was walking home from work one night' date=' when he was set upon by about 10 neds, aged between 11 and 20. They kicked the living shit out of him; so I don't like neds either.[/quote']

    Is he alright now?

It's just so sickening when they kick the shit out of people for no reason, not that having a reason would necessarily justify it. They're just scum, pure and simple.

Someone also early mentioned the fact that their background plays a role - I don't believe that - yes it has an influence upon them but at the end of the day everyone has choices in life. Their choices may not be as easy or privaliged as others, but they are choices none-the-less, and the fact of the matter is that the vast majority of 'poor' people do not go around picking fights, it's an active minority: a minority to whom violence is not forced upon, but they actually consciously choose to participate in it for some sort of sick, distorted sense of pleasure. Nothing justify's that.

  6. Just reminded me of this line from them that cropped up in the "worst lyrics thread" - "It's not confidential' date=' I've got potential....."[/quote']

Granted, that is quite cringeworthy. However, they are generally a great band - c'mon admit it!

  7. You could always try the sexual discrimination card - females at JL can have their hair streaked with red through it, yet a male can't? You'd have to be very careful though and make sure your argument was rock solid. Is there any rule about outrageous haircuts - because when I saw your disciplinary form it said 'unnatural hair colour/state' - nothing unnatural about a mohawk! lol - they'd love that.

  8. Would it not also be an idea to write to the Minister for Communities in the Scottish Parliament (Margaret Curran MSP)

It may also be an idea to write to the minister for Education and Young People as well, seen as this scheme would involve the young to a great extent. That minister is Peter Peacock MSP by the way.

Oh, and the minister for Tourism, Culture and Sport would also be a good person to contact - Frank McAveety MSP

  9. I could see why women would want to be a lesbian but why would men be gay we are ugly creatures!

    Speak for yourself!

Ive just had a thought. Perhaps it's more to do with the fact that homosexuality is more widely accepted in this country now than it has been ever before. Therefore, people are more forthcoming with their true feelings instead of shying away and putting their true sexuality to the back of their mind for fear of social exclusion etc. Instead in our modern world these people are accepted and in the majority of cases are actually centre to social circles.

Anyone else agree or am I speaking shite?
