LADY MERCEDES + ATRIUM + KILLER ANGELS + STAR

SATURDAY 18TH SEPTEMBER @ THE LEMON TREE

Dundee's KILLER ANGELS will play their first Lemon Tree show on

Saturday replacing US rock band Rockets and Cars who had to pull

out due to touring commitments.

Fresh for playing at Alan McGee's Death Disco in London this will be

the debut gig at The Lemon Tree for KILLER ANGELS. The band

have already played 4 Death Disco's in London in thier short 18

month existance. They were personally invited by Alan McGee after

hearing an early demo and a mutaul friendship with the late Joe

Strummer.

KILLER ANGELS are a hard edged rock band that take riffs, hooks

and solos out of the Hendrix and Page school of guitar whilst they are

driven by a juggernaut rhythm section and have a front man that has

the passion of Liam Gallaghers voice and swagger of Bobby Gillespie.

There are moments you can hear a pin drop, followed by explosions

of music that tear your ears apart. The Music but harder edged, a

band that are in the same genre as TCTC and Kasabian, the Led Zep

of this generation? Who knows?

Local favourites Lady Mercedes unveil their all-new line up at this show

and fully expect their raw edged, rock'n'roll sound to emerge stronger

and louder than ever.

Atrium's material, covers a range of moods and feelings all held together

in well crafted, stunning songs, coupled with a brilliant live show make

them the band to see in 2004. The band have just completed their debut

EP which will be launched tonight.

Fat Hippy Records indie rockers Star complete the bill and bring their

high-octane set of songs which are fuelled with enormous energy. Their

unique brand of Rock n Roll has to be seen to be believed!

Doors at 9pm / first band 9.30pm. Killer Angels on at 10.15pm

Tickets 5 or 3.25 cons available from the Lemon Tree box office

on (01224) 642230.
