garth_21 Posted November 3, 2012 Report Share Posted November 3, 2012 Ultimately I want to perform original music and be in a full band again, but right now as a sort of half way step I'm performing covers acoustically with a singer. My problem is I don't have much time and I think it might be better spending it on a project closer to what I want in the end.I'm Jamming with a singer right now but we're just performing a ton of covers for open mic nights. It's fun but I'm unsure as to whether I'd be better spending the time writing material and looking for a full band. My logic originally was that any performing is better than none, and once we're a bit known I can use that to find a band more to my tastes. So should I continue with this covers project for now while I find something new or should I drop it and focus my energy on getting the new band together?
