depraved..
Just interested to see if anyone else on the forum attended this gig.It was spiggin awesome. The band came onstage around 9.30, opening with Hit Me with Your Rhythm Stick, they played hit after hit along with some new tracks. They have a new album coming out in the New Year and judging by the samplers it's gonna be bangin.John Turnbull and Derek Hussey took turns in lead vocals, with all the guys joining in at opportune moments - as they did (BLOCKHEADS)!!!!Overall this was a major funkfest, and even though Ian Dury is sorely missed, the music doesn't suffer in the slightest. After playing for 2hours, they gave an encore of Sweet Gene Vincent and Reasons to be Cheerful (Part3)They promised not to leave it 18years before returning, so check them out next time.
