malloty Posted September 20, 2005 Report Share Posted September 20, 2005 just got email from nemis and seen that there is a musicians union roadshow at the lemon tree tonight, been to one before and it was really useful, have attached the advert below - The Musicians Union hosts a series of four informal free-to-attend evening roadshows and networking events around Scotland later this month (September).Visiting Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Inverness and Ayr the events will kick off at 7pm feature informal presentations from the Musicians Unions Dave Arcari, Stuart Fleming of the Performing Right Society (PRS) and Duncan McCrone from the Mechanical Copyright Protection Society (MCPS).The presentations will give an outline of the services provided by these key music industry organisations and how they can help artists and businesses wanting to get a good start in the music business.
